DHARALI VICTIMS REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE CHEQUES OF FIVE THOUSAND RUPEES, RAISED ANTI CM SLOGANS

In Dharali Uttarkashi the catastrophic victims and their families have boycotted the representatives of the government who had gone their to distribute Rs. Five Thousands as financial compensation.
Terming this as ridiculing, the Dharali victims who have suffered losses in several lakhs losing their everything in the ravishing flash floods, the victims have refused to accept the nominal financial compensation from the government asking the officials to go back immediately. The officials of the local administration sat silently and returned back in a huff.
The victims and their families held demonstrations and raised ” Murdabad” slogans against the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami saying that he is insulting the victims who have lost their everything in the flash floods at Dharali.
Meanwhile , the president of the Uttarakhand Women’s Congress Jyoti Rautela condemned this petty economic financial compensation to the Dharali, Uttarkashi victims saying that this ridiculing attitude of the Uttarakhand government giving merely Rs. Five thousand to each family is nothing but disgusting and shameful who have lost their everything , houses, people, jobs, business and their commercial wealth.
This step of the Uttarakhand government is highly insulting and playing with their dignity, undignifying them.
She urged the government to pay them adequate financial compensation rather than making mockery of their pitiable condition having lost their everything in the ravishing Dharali flash floods.
Meanwhile the Uttarakhand chief minister has donated his one months salary for the victims of the Dharali flash floods and former CM Harish Rawat his one month pension .
The CM is in the catastrophe affected area and has posted some picture and written on X : Inspected the disaster affected areas of Dharali and Harshil and enquired about the condition of the victims. During this, met the local mothers and sisters who faced the terrible disaster bravely and enquired about their well-being. The entire state stands with them in this hour of disaster.
