DGP Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar gives full credit to his fitness trainer of Assam
“Health is Wealth” and it should be the motto of the life of one and all. Being health conscious and keeping fit, hale and hearty should be the motto of everyone as if health is lost everything is lost. The Indian Police Service officer and Director General of Police Uttarakhand Askok Kumar has a day ago posted an inspiring vedio of health consciousness in his facebook time line exhibiting doing exercises weight lifting, squatting and sprint in full speed regularly for the last 7 to 8 years despite being not able to play badminton and lawn tennis, which were His part of regular routine. DGP Uttarakhand says that he could not play these games for two years due to his left and right legs being affected due to the hamstring and ligament injuries. He tried his best to get himself cured at 2, 3 places via physiotherapy but despite best efforts could not succeed. In the meanwhile he came in contact with a renowned physiotherapist of Gauhati namely Bhaskar Borah who is a fitness trainer of Assam. He is now fit and is doing sprint for the last 8 years. Sprint is a small distance fast running. Not only this but he is also doing squat with fifty kilograms without any difficulty. Jubilant IPS officer, DGP Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar gives full credit for this improvement to fitness trainer Borah. His vedio loaded post was viewed by more than 77 thousand viewers with 500 comments and around 260 shares. It sounds good and encouraging that an IPS officer of a rank of DGP is in a way sending across a message to his fraternity as well as all to be extremely health conscious and maintain their health by way of daily exercising and going for regular walks and jogging etcetera.
