After first defeating the Olympics gold medalist Japanese competitor today in the quarter finals entering the semifinals highly determined exceptional Indian wrestler having won Gold medals in Asian and Commonwealth games Vinesh Phogat has defeated the woman wrestler Yusneylis Guzman Lopez of Cuba by outstanding 5-0 to enter Olympics 2024.
A first women wrestler having already made a record of winning two gold medals in Commonwealth and Asian games and for winning multiple medals in World championships Vinesh Phogat has again made a new record to become the first India woman to enter the wrestling final in the Olympics.
After this outstanding triumph Vinesh Phogat will confront the USA’s Sarah Ann Hildebrandt in the Paris Olympics 2024 Women’s wrestling fifty kg final on Wednesday.
Prior to this triumph entering final – Vinesh Phogat defeated the Olympics gold medalist World number one and defending champion Yul Susaki of Japan in the round 16 before edging out Ukraine’s Oksana Livach in the Quarter Finals.
