Deputy opposition leader Bhuvan Kapri shocked everyone when he said in assembly that fifteen percent of the MLA fund is allegedly deducted by bureaucrats in Uttarakhand as commission
The deputy leader of the opposition Bhuvan Kapri today surprised and shocked everyone in Uttarakhand assembly, the session being chaired by the speaker Ritu Khanduri when he catagorically said that while we are talking lot about the achievements during the last twenty five years , the situation on the ground is just contrary. We haven’t grown up young during the past twenty five years in terms of achievements and developments as being claimed by various treasury bench speakers but actually and awfully we have become young in terms of inundated in corruption till the neck.
Bhuvan Kapri, Congress MLA, deputy leader opposition in the assembly who defeated the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami compelling him to win from other constituency said that if I open my mouth everyone will say what have I said but the fact of the matter is – during the last twenty five years we have witnessed massive corruption.
To substantiate his statement Bhuvan Kapri vociferously made startling revelations saying in the house that the corruption starts from us when even from our MLA development fund , a fifteen percent cut worth of commission is allegedly deducted by the bureaucrats.
In view of this hard fact how can we stop corruption adding further that there could be nothing shameful than this said the deputy leader of opposition and Congress MLA Bhuvan Kapri.
He emphasised that that it would be in the fitness of the things if we are disbursed the MLA fund after already deducting that fifteen percent commission in advance so that we are not a part of this alleged corruption.
Every member in he house was shell shocked and nobody had any option other than being mum over the statement of the Congress opposition deputy leader in the presence of ministers and the honourable speaker Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha. Mr.
Bhuvan Kapri was delivering his speech in his capacity of the deputy Opposition leader on twenty five years’ completion of Uttarakhand separate state formed on 9 th November , 2000.
