Delhi’s designated CM Atishi releases a book on “Part Time Politics” at Press Club of India
The designated chief minister of Delhi Atishi Bharadwaj today was the chief guest at Press Club of India in a function organised to release a book titled ” Part Time Politics” authored by Vaibhav, an AAP activist and an engineer by profession. Inaugurating the book, the chief minister lauded the efforts of the author to write the book at such a young age and said that this book is truly a transparent reflection of part time politicians active in Aam Admi Party, who are the back bone of the party having come to power in 2013 and the national capital territory till date by the overall support and blessings of Delhites. Remembering her previous days, the Delhi’s designated CM said that when she joined politics she came as a part time politician, with the aim to contribute in the improvisation of the society and making the society corruption free. Lauding the Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival repeatedly Atishi Bharadwaj said that we never even in dreams thought that we will be MLA one time , not to speak of becoming the CM. I fondly remember that when I joined the movement against corruption and thereafter the AAM ADMI PARTY I was given the responsibility as a researcher to search issues for the AAP leaders to be raised in the press conference. When I met AAP leader Arvind Kejrival and others for the very first time in AAP office in 2013 , I was advised to just give 25 percent of my time to the party. But when AAP formed the government , I was asked to resign and dedicate my full time to the government and the party as Kejriwal said that since we have formed the government we need to have qualified people to run it efficiently and come to the expectation to the expectation to the electorates. So I resigned from my job and joined the party as a full time activist adding that she never thought that she will be MLA one day and the chief minister. She thanked the outgoing chief minister Arvind Kejrival for generating the part time politicians in the service of the nation and making them the important part of the political system in fighting corruption and running the government for the betterment of the society and fighting corruption tooth and nail. She lauded the initiative of Mr. Vaibhav to write such an important and prescious book of the part time politicians who are the backbone of Aam Admi politics saying that those who are the architect of AAP and in government including the outgoing CM and our mentor were themselves the part time politicians before forming the government and changing the face of Indian politics by fighting corruption tooth and nail and giving relief in various sectors to the electorates of Delhi and Punjab forming their governments with the outstanding support of the people en masse. Atishi released the book ” Part time politics ” authored by Vaibhav with the Malviya Nagar MLA and former law minister Somnath Bharti, former Vice Chairman of DTC Jasmine, and spokesman and writer of several books and MLA Dilip Pandey and others.The audience were in large numbers comprising of good number of women, men, youths and students including lawyers, journalists and AAP activist.
