Delhi minister Rajkumar Anand resigns from party saying AAP is no more a party born to fight corruption
Aam Admi Party and its Government suffered yet another setback and huge jolt after one of the ministers in Delhi government Raj Kumar Anand resigned from the party as well as from the government accusing AAP n the government for being involved in alleged corruption. The Delhi minister while quitting as minister n also leaving the party said that I had joined it thinking that this is a party with transparency but now I have realised that this is the party involved in rampant corruption away from its primary objective of fight against corruption.
The minister Rajkumar Anand said that he had joined Aam Admi Party after seeing its strong message on containing and fighting corruption relentlessly. But unfortunately today the party itself is in the middle of corruption , compelling me to resign from the party and the government. Rajkumar was the minister of social welfare and SC ST affairs in the Delhi government of AAP.
ANAND is the very first minister to have quit the party and government.
It may be recalled that the residence of the Delhi minister Mr. Anand was raided by the ED earlier and the AAP handle writes that it is because of the pressure of ED that he has resigned from the AAP n its government.
The Delhi chief minister is already in judicial custody at Tihar prison and the former deputy CM too is in jail since the last one year with Sanjay Singh MP having been released on bail after being behind bars since the last six months in Tihar jail, given by the Supreme Court.
