Delhi minister Atishi admitted in ICU of LNJP. Her ketone level increased and sugar came down to 36. Hunger strike called off says Sanjay Singh MP

The Delhi minister of water resources Atishi who was on five day hunger strike on Haryana state not supplying the due share of water to Delhi has been admitted in LNJP hospital and indefinite hunger strike called off after her health condition badly deteriorated and suger level going down to 36.

According to the AAP MP Sanjay Singh she was warned by the doctors attending her to immediately call off her hunger strike and get admitted in the ICU.

Currently she is in ICU of LNJP under treatment.

According to the doctors of LNJP hospital when the Water Minister of Delhi Atishi was brought to the hospital her Blood Sugar Level – had reached 36, which is very worrying.

Apart from this, there were ketones in the urine. She has been admitted to the ICU.

Currently, her health is fine and a team of doctors are taking care of her in the ICU.

All his tests have been done, the reports of which are yet to come revealed the message of AAP posted on its social media handle X.

It may be recalled that the Delhi water resources minister Atishi Marlena had undertaken a fast unto death at Jangpura Bhogal five days ago demanding the due water share of more than 100 MGD from Haryana to Delhi which has adversely affected 28 lakh people of the national capital on daily basis during the ongoing scorching heat waves.

After three / four days of of hunger strike her health condition started deteriorating with her Ketone going up considerably and sugar level coming down to 36 including the blood pressure to 56. This has prompted AAP leaders like Sanjay Singh, Saurabh Bharadwaj , Delhi minister and others take an urgent decision to withdraw the hunger strike Pani Satyagraha and got her admitted in the ICU of LNJP today.

The doctors attending her had warned that if she is not admitted in hospital immediately there is tremendous risk to her already deteriorating health.

Meanwhile, the incarcerated Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has not been accorded bail by Delhi high court . Now his matter will be heard tomorrow by the two judge vacation bench of Supreme Court where the judgement was kept reserved in view of the High Court judgement slated to be delivered today.
