The Communist Party of India , Delhi State Council strongly India the Increase in the fares of the Delhi Metro Rail. Metro Rail fares are already very high comparison to the other public transport. The Government of India and Delhi government both who runs metro rail have not thought of before increasing the fares of the metro rail. This is an attack on common people of Delhi incomes which are already under the pressures of severest ever price rise, unemployment and inflation. Delhi labourers are not given even minimum wages and this metro rail increase will lead them to more and more poverty. The public transport can not be used to as means of profit for the Delhi and Central Government. This is being used by people who are going for the production process of the Delhi and India and also go to work and create surplus to the city.
Hence the CPI Delhi State demands from the Central and Delhi government to immediately withdraw this metro fare hike.
