Delhi Court directs Delhi Police to lodge FIR against Kejrival and two others in a case of 2019

The former Delhi chief minister and national convenor of AAP who seems to be in oblivion these days after his massive defeat in Delhi and already out on bail has once again fallen into jeopardy when a Delhi court has today directed the Delhi police to file an FIR against him and two others the then MLA of Matiala Gulab Singh and the then councillor Nitika Sharma and submit the report of the case before the court latest by March 18. There are already cases filed by ED and CBI against Arvind Kejrival in the liquor related bribe case pertaining to the new excuse police introduced during his government , thereafter scrapped. Kejrival is out on bail in this case through the Supreme Court’s decision in the same case. The present case in which the Delhi court has directed the Delhi police to register FIR against Arvind Kejrival dates back to the year 2019 when complaint was filed against Delhi CM, then, Arvind Kejrival , the Matiala MLA Gulab Singh and the councillor Nitika Sharma and request was made to lodge FIR against them. It was in this case that after five years the additional chief judicial magistrate Neha Mittal has while accepting the petition directed the Delhi police to lodge an FIR against former Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival , Former Matiala MLA Gulab Singh and then councillor Nikita Sharma. The matter took so much of time because the lower court had earlier rejected the petition. However the concerned party then approached the additional session’s court for lodging of the FIR and starting legal proceedings against Arvind Kejrival and others. The sessions court sent the case to the lower court again asking it to let it know whether the case warrants registration of the FIR as requested by the petitioner. The magistrate Court has again heard the case and directed the Delhi police to registered the FIR against Kejrival and others before 18 March and submit the Action Taken Report to the Court on 18 th. This FIR to be registered is for misusing the tax payers money etc. The former Delhi CM had badly lost in Delhi and his party has only 22 lawmakers whereas the BJP has 48 . Arvind Kejrival himself lost from New Delhi. He had been in jail for several months earlier and is in bail. This new FIR has put his condition in more jeopardy.
