Delhi CM enhances the minimum monthly wages of Delhi workers as Diwali gift
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has given another gift to the working class and people of the lower strata working in Delhi after first remitting the late fee on the inflated water bills. Now, the three categories of workers’ minimum monthly wages have been enhanced. This news has made the people of lower strata of the society happy. The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has increased the minimum wage limit of the labourers in three categories. According to the latest news while the monthly wages of unskilled labourers have been increased from Rs. 16506 to 16792, the monthly wages of semi skilled workers have been enhanced from Rs 18,187 to Rs. 18499. The monthly wages of skilled labourers have been enhanced to Rs. 20357 from Rs. 20,019.
The AAP government led by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had issued these orders as gift to the poor on the ocassion of Deepawali, which will be formally implemented with retrospective effect from 1 st October.
The deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia who had earlier made the announcement to remit the late fees of inflated water bills till December, said that the increase in monthly wages by Delhi CM are the highest among all the states of the country.
The Delhi CM had last year also increased the minimum monthly wages of the skilled, semi skilled and unskilled labourers ( workers) of Delhi from Rs. 15,492 to 15,908 for unskilled labourers, 17,069 to 17,537 for semi skilled workers and Rs. 18,797 to 19,291 for skilled labourers.
Delhi CM had also increased the monthly wages of clerical staff employees and supervisors working in Delhi.
It’s strange, instead of increasing wages the government is reducing them.
