Delhi CM, Deputy CMand several MLAs exonerated of charges of alleged attack on the former CS,Delhi
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and nine AAP lawmakers have been exonerated of various charges of alleged attack and misconduct on the then chief secretary of Delhi government, IAS Anshul Prakash by the Rouse Avenue court today, though the two lawmakers Amanutullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal, both from Aam Admi Party have been charge sheeted on various charges levelled by the former chief secretary, Delhi.
Kindly recall that according to the accusations of Anshul Prasad, the then chief secretary, on 19 th February, 2018 when he was called at the chief Minister’s residence by Arvind Kejrival in a meeting with some MLAs an argument erupted in the meeting in which he was allegedly physically manhandled and abused in the presence if the CM.
However, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival had denied these charges terming them as a political conspiracy to malign his reputation n that of his party.
The matter was tremendously hyped in the media with police registering cases against nine lawmakers of AAP n Delhi CM n deputy CM.
After three years finally Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival and deputy CM Manish Sisodia along with nine lawmakers have been exonerated of various charges by the Rouse Avenue Court though Amanutullah Khan and Jarwal, both AAP MLAs have been charge sheeted in the case.
Some among the nine MLAs of AAP exonerated by the court are : Madan Lal, Pravin Kumar, Nitin Tyagi, Dinesh Mohania, Rajesh Gupta, Rajesh Rishi, Ajay Dutt, sanjiv Jha, Rituraj Govind etc. FIR against 11 Lawmakers of AAP were registered by Delhi police in this case including CM n deputy CM.
In a tweet Delhi chief minister enclosing the tweet of Rishikumar wrote : Satyamev Jayate. The Rishikumar Tweet says : Big breaking : Delhi special court of MP, MLAs today discharged hon’ble chief minister and deputy CM along with 8 MLAs in erstwhile chief secretary case.
