He added : People holding high constitutional posts say that ‘I am a man of this caste, hence they are insulting me.’ We are not even allowed to read the notice in the House, so can I say that Modi government does not even allow Dalits to speak!
Speaking against the ruling political dispensation for stifling the freedom of speech and expression Mallikarjun Kharge said that we have got freedom of speech in the Constitution. This freedom was given to us by Mahatma Gandhi ji, Jawahar Lal Nehru ji and Dr. Ambedkar ji. But you threw out the opposition MPs from the House and passed all the laws without any opposition said Kharge while addressing the crowd at Jantar Mantar.

The more you try to crush us, the more we will rise added Senior Congress leader Kharge saying further that we are uniting to save the nation, Constitution and democracy.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while speaking against arbitrary suspension of opposition MPs dwelt on the issue of unemployment saying that the party that came to power by promising to provide 2 crore jobs every year, does not even want to hear ‘about unemployment’ in the Parliament today.
Accusing the BJP led NDA government for using the tactics of suppression and creating fear Rahul Gandhi said that the pivotal issue of massive unemployment was raised several times but this issue is repeatedly suppressed by using the politics of ‘fear and confusion’ as a weapon adding that when the youth of the country will wake up, they will demand account of every deceit and betrayal thus taking his share of ‘justice’.

It may be recalled that in the history of Indian parliamentary proceedings this is for the very first time during the BJP led NDA government’s rule that more than 145 MPs from both the houses of parliament were suspended in a single session just because they were raising their voice of dissent demanding statement from the prime minister and the home minister inside both the houses on the breach of parliament security termed by the present government as unruly, undemocratic and unconstitutional behaviour amounting to indignation of parliament and its ethos.
Former cricket captain and former Congress MP Mr. Azharuddin had also participated in their rally. Several other leaders spoke on this occasion.
