Defamation suit of Rs. 10 crores filed against Madhu Kushwar for defamatory accusations against PM

The former editor of Manushi, the author of prime minister Narendra Modi’s biography and eminent writer who was earlier considered to be a great Modi admirer, these days his biggest antagonist having written a detailed post on X against the former saying that she has started maintaining distance from him after she knew certain things about him also accusing him for making a merely 12 th pass incompetent MP Smriti Irani as the union education minister etc is today in jeopardy as one of the Modi supporters Manish Mishra has filed a defation petition against Madhu Kishwar for her highly derogatory and insulting remarks against the prime minister, though in the petition he has blamed her for accusing him.

Since her first tweet, Madhu Kushwar is constantly tweeting against PM on various other subjects and also giving interviews in various channels boldly levelling charges against PM and standing to her tweets against the PM.

Madhu Kishwar faces a criminal defamation case in Delhi’s Patiala Court.

According to it the allegations are proven baseless, she could face up to 7 years in jail.

The petitioner Manish Mishra has filed the case in Patiala House court along with a ₹10 crore civil defamation suit.

Her tweets against Modi now seem to be backfiring. Meanwhile after filing of the petition by Manish Mishra several comments are pouring in on X saying that Manish Mishra says – he has been defamed . How can it be possible. Did Madhu Kishwar tweeted against him ? Then who is he to file the petition asked the X handler.

Another twittereti Bhagwan Parshurama says : In a defamation case, the complainant should prove his innocence, in this case, Modi. How is the petitioner authorized in the first place to file it? He is questioning Manish Mishra.

Another X handler Jagriti Shukla writes : I am not sure but 3rd person filing has no
weightage. But still @madhukishwar need to
check with her best lawyer and shrihari umapati’s blessings are with you.

Another twiteretti Sham Vivek writes : The case is likely to be dismissed in early
hearings only because defamation is personal
and the petitioner has no locus standi as he
has not been defamed personally.
The case has been made to just put pressure on the alleged culprit replied Sham Vivek on one of the tweets.
