The snooze seems to be tightening around the neck of Olympian wrestler Sushil Kumar after vedios of his alleged unambiguous involvement in the murder of his fellow 25 year old wrestler Sagar Dhankar on the intervening night of May 5 n 6 are being telecast in electronic news channels exhibiting the Olympian wrestler literally thrashing Sagar at Chatrasaal Stadium alongwith several wrestlers n other accomplices.
Meanwhile, till now about nine accomplices of Sushil Kumar, majority of them wrestlers and criminals had been arrested with one Brijendra Pahalwan grabbed by police today from Delhi.
The anguished mother of deceased wrestler Sagar Dhankar, Savita Dhankar in tears has demanded capital punishment for Sushil Kumar, who according to the latest news, thrashed Sagar badly for about 45 minutes, alongwith his accomplices leading to his brutal death. She also accused Sushil of killing her son because he was jealous of him being a prospective Olympian in wrestling likely to bring Olympic wrestling medal in the near future.
She was speaking to news channels ABP and Republic.
The Olympian Sushil Kumar is being deeply interrogated by the special cell sleuths trying to dig his illegal connections with hardened criminals and gangsters of Delhi and his alleged involvement in dubious deals etc.
It may be recalled that around fifteen wrestlers and criminals were allegedly involved in this brawl led by Sushil Kumar.
Twenty five years old promising wrestler Sagar Dhankar and two of his associates were injured in this brawl on 5 th May but Sagar Dhankar who was the main target succumbed to his grievous injuries n declared brought dead when the police took him to hospital for treatment.
The main clue that led to the prime suspect Sushil in the police net was the vedio shot by his associate wrestler Prince directed by the Olympian himself, with the intention to show them to his rivals to impress them.
According to the police when Prince was arrested, the vedio was recovered that clearly showed Sushil Kumar holding a hockey stick in his hand and allegedly thrashing Sagar Dhankar along with other accomplices who died due to deep n grievous multiple head injuries.
Meanwhile the Delhi high Court has today turned down the appeal filed in the court by an advocate and Sushil’s mother requesting for stopping the media trial against the Olympian without his being convicted .
This is another shock for the family of the Olympian who had accused the media of conducting media trial of the Olympian without having been convicted.
Reports suggest that the vedio in police custody showing Sushil clearly thrashing deceased wrestler with a hockey stick on the night of 5 th May after abducting him from his house to Chatrasaal Stadium at gun point, is a solid evidence with the crime branch which will nail him as a murderer. About six witnesses are already ready to depose against him in the court reveal today’s news reports.
