DECEASED JOURNALIST RAJIV PRATAP’S PREGNANT WIFE ALONGWITH OTHER WOMEN PROTEST AT the DEHRADUN Parade ground Demanding CBI Probe

The few months pregnant wife of late independent journalist whose dead body was found at Uttarkashi river front few days ago and police saying that it’s a case of suicide after the self driven car by the late journalist plunged into the river the family outrightly rejected the police version and termed it a case of brutal murder out of revenge by an unknown murderer since the deceased journalist was outspoken and made startling revelations about few scandals related to corruption in and outside the givernment.

The protesting wife of the deceased journalist Rajiv Pratap was married just a year ago and is pregnent protesting to demand CBI probe in the case, government job to her for the survival of the traumatised family etc.

According to the brother of the deceased , the police version about his brother having committed suicide by plunging his car into the river under inebriation demanded a CBI probe, as an impartial probe by the India’s premier agency is the only alternative to catch the culprits and arrive at the definite conclusion about the murder of his brother.

He questioned the local police as to why did they took more than 11 days to recover the body and delay the probe which unambiguously mean that there is something very serious about the mysterious disappearance and subsequent finding of his body with no clothes on him.

The women and men protestors are giving Dharna at Parade ground holding several placards in their hands demanding CBI probe as a major demand.

Police in Uttarakhand has been under alleged suspicion in several previous instances like arbitrary arrest of Journalist, advocate and social activist Ashutosh Negi in Pauri when he had proactively and relentlessly struggled seeking justice in Ankita Bhandari case followed by several other such cases another being in Kotdwar where an independent journalist and a famous you tuber Sudhanshu Thapliyal ” SID MOUNTAINEER” was too arbitrarily detained for entire night in Kotdwar police lock up having been picked from his s house at mid night by about a dozen policemen as if he was a criminal, his fault being that he has questioned the integrity of policemen as to why after eleven days the owner of a SUV who killed a scooterist girl has not been arrested. The laptop and mobile of Thapliyal have also been taken from him still lying in police custody and the case in Uttarakhand High court. There are several other such instances still going on, unfortunately.
