Dead body of Balwant Singh Mehra resident of Burari found in a drain at Dhampur , Bijnaur


The dead body with several wounds of a resident of Burari , Delhi who was heading towards his village in Kumaon division of Uttarakhand in a bus was found after after a day in a drain with not much water at Bijnaur Dhampur under the jurisdiction of Afzalpur police station.

According to one of the family members after post mortem they were told by the local police that the death of late Balwant Singh Mehra occured due to his being drowned, may be because of asphixiation though there were impressions of internal injuries with external marks on several parts of his body as well.

What is interesting to note about this mysterioys death is that his clothes wre found at several nearby locations and Rs. 6200 intact , with no sign of loot. However, his not so expensive mobile is missing which gives the impression that he has been murdered. The family asks how can a person travelling in a bus for his hometown come to the drain and die in such a mysterious circumstances which clearly indicate that those who had killed him may have later on thrown his dead body in the drain at Dhampur.

The family members are badly worried and want that justice is delivered to the bereaved family forthwith.

They have appealed to the Uttarakhand Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath to intervene immediately and bring the culprits to book with adequate financial compensation to the aggrieved family.

The president of the MDUPS Kamal Dhyani has assured the bereaved family to help them to the core by meeting the Uttarakhand Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath to bring the culprits to book and grant the family the maximum financial compensation.
