Cracks may appear in INDIA NATIONAL INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENTAL ALLIANCE after Mamta Banerjee releases a list of 42 candidates giving Yusuf Pathan ticket from Behrampore against Adhir Ranjan
As the dates for general elections are likely to be declared by 15 th May, the conglomerate of non BJP opposition parties seems to be in jeopardy particularly after several important partners of INDIA NATIONAL INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENTAL ALLIANCE ( INDIA) are not coming for mutual seat adjustments amicably and contesting individually.
Not only this but after Nitish Kumar , the chief architect of INDIA and Jayant Choudhary joined the NDA, the INDI alliance suffered a huge jolt though Rahul Gandhi and Congress leaders are busy in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra enticing massive crowds but not able to set a joint agenda to counter the juggernaut of Narendra Modi.
Today, the Trinamool Congress released its list of 42 candidates from West Bengal and gave ticket to renowned cricketer Yusuf Pathan living in Mumbai from Behrampur, knowing very well that the senior leader of Congress , close to Sonia and Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi vociferous Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is a sitting MP from here and would be contesting at all costs.
This dictatorial attitude of Mamata Banerjee knowing very well that this will result in Congress and CPM falling apart by her unilateral approach has infact created a clear cut “Daraar”, cracks in INDIA formed with the sole aim to challenge BJP and NDA formidably just before general elections.
If this trend continues, the regional parties in INDIA may follow suit and the national parties particularly the Congress having stronghold in various states will not have their say resulting in repulsion and disintegration.
This disintegrated approach by some of the leaders in INDIA will definitely help BJP which is trying its best to ensure that annoyed Congress leaders are wholeheartedly welcomed in its party .
The senior Congress leader of Madhya PRADESH former MP, four times, and former union minister Mr. Pachauri has joined BJP and Kamalnath is already annoyed having kept his defection in abeyance for the time being after Sonia Gandhi intervened keeping him in good humour assuring to take care of him with due respect.
A Congress leader of Uttarakhand and son of former CM of Uttarakhand and former union minister Manish Khanduri too joined BJP two days ago expressing his full faith and commitment towards prime minister Narendra Modi saying that he is the only leader to run the nation efficiently though he has love and respect for Rahul Gandhi.
Meanwhile , deeply annoyed, furious, angered and disenchanted, MP from Behrampore , West Bengal Adhir Ranjan Choudhary had strongly criticised West Bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee for not arriving at an amicable settlement with Congress and CPM with regard to seat adjustments in West Bengal and issued a list of her own party individually, even giving ticket to Yusuf Pathan from Behrampore thus betraying the important and major partner of INDIA, the Congress party and declaring Yusuf Pathan as TMC candidate from Behrampore knowing very well that this is the seat of Congress from where he is a sitting MP.
According to ANI leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Chowdhury says, “If TMC wanted to honour Yusuf Pathan, they should’ve sent him to the Rajya Sabha instead of sending ‘outsiders’… If Mamata Banerjee had good intentions for Yusuf Pathan, she would have asked alliance (INDIA alliance) for a seat for him (Yusuf Pathan) in Gujarat. But here in West Bengal, he is selected as a candidate to polarise the common man and to help the BJP, so that Congress can be defeated… Mamata Banerjee has proven today that none of the political parties of India should trust a leader like her… Mamata Banerjee is in fear that if she continues to be in the INDIA alliance, PM Modi will be unhappy. By separating herself from the INDIA alliance, she has sent a message to the PMO, don’t be unhappy with me, I am not standing to fight against the BJP.” Reveal the ANI post on X.
Senior Congress leader and former union minister Jairam Ramesh had also expressed his views in this regard on X that Congress has urged Mamata Banerjee for a respectable seat adjustment in Bengal and elsewhere. He wrote : The Indian National Congress has repeatedly declared its desire to have a respectable seat-sharing agreement with the TMC in West Bengal. The Indian National Congress has always maintained that such an agreement has to be finalised through negotiations and not by unilateral announcements. The Indian National Congress has always wanted the INDIA group to fight the BJP together.
