CPI GENERAL SECRETARY D.RAJA MEETS ATISHI AND EXTENDED HIS PARTY’S SUPPORT TO HER NOBLE CAUSE
Communist Party of India (CPI) delegation led General Secretary CPI D. Raja along with K. Narayana national Secretary, Prof. Dinesh Varshney Secretary CPI Delhi State Council and National Council Member, Shankarlal CPI national Council Member, Babban Kumar Singh State Council member joined the indefinite Hunger Strike by Ms. Atishi Delhi’s water Minister of Delhi at Jangpura to express the solidarity of CPI with the Aam Admi Party.
While addressing the activists and general public D.Raja said that the CPI fully supports the relentless struggle of AAP for adequate water supply to the people of Delhi. Haryana government is not releasing the Delhi due share of water from Hatnikund Barrage said D.Raja adding that when BJP lost the majority on 4 th June since than crisis was deliberately created by the saffron party n its central government including BJP led Haryana government.
In this way BJP governments is making the people of Delhi thirsty accused the BJP governments of Centre and Haryana.
28 Lakh people of Delhi is directly affected by this water shortage in Delhi.
He asked the Central and Haryana government to release due share of water of Delhi immediately. This matter will be raised in Parliament and outside by CPI said CPI senior leader and general secretary D.Raja.
He further stated n assured that the CPI stands solidly with this struggle of Ms. Atishi, and Delhi government for getting water share of Delhi.
When CPI delegation reached at Hunger Strike site they were welcome by Sanjay Singh MP, Jasmine Shah , Adil , Dilip Pandey and other senior leaders of Aam Admi Party and thanked the CPI.
