Brave heart of Gurkha Gurkha Rifles Pradeep Thapa of Harrawala Dehradun martyred in Nagaland. Jai Hind

While entire Uttarakhand and the nation was waiting for the new year 2022 giving adieu to tragic 2021 that resulted in so much of Covid 19 deaths, looking forward towards the first day of New year 2022 with high optimism, in Nagaland Garhwal, Uttarakhand lost a young braveheart of Gorkha Rifles namely Pradeep Thapa on Friday, while on duty sending shockwaves in Uttarakhand and the country.

Serving in 1/3 Gurkha Rifles dare devil Havaldar Pradeep Thapa was martyred in Nagaland on Friday on the last day of the eclipsing 2021, which had already claimed the lives of several bravehearts in the line of duty protecting our porus borders and relentlessly fighting enemy soldiers and Pak sponsored terrorists including the chief of defence staff n former Army general Bipin Rawat, two brigadiers, pilots ( commanders) and several braveheart soldiers including Mrs Rawat, while if way to Welington, Cunnoor, Tamilnadu few days ago, a biggest tragedy ever.

A month ago in Mon district Nagaland while 13 civilians succumbed by mistake a paratrooper of Indian Army hailing from 21 parashoot batallion was also martyred sending shock waves in Uttarakhand. Gautam Lal, paratrooper had become the victim of the frenzied mob in Mon district after the killing of 13 civilians creating lot of tension in entire Nagaland. The martyr India soldier of 21 parashoot regiment of Indian Army Gautam Lal originally came from Nauli village of Teri Garhwal.

Martyred soldier of 1/3 Gurkha Rifles constable Pradeep Thapa was from. Anarwala Dehradun. The bereaved family is in extreme shock and traumatic condition with tears rolling down their eyes incessantly.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami while extending his salutations to this brave heart tweeted : My salutations to supreme martyr while in line of duty protecting our nation Havaldar Pradeep Thapa of Gurkha Rifles hailing from Anarwala, Dehradun. The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed his deepest condolence on the tragic demise of Havaldar Pradeep Thapa tweeting : Jai Hind! My salutations to constable Pradeep Thapa of Anarwala, Dehradun who LA is down his life in Nagaland while on official duty, in the service of the nation. May the Almighty render peace to the pious soul by given place at His feet and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
