Congress’s opposition leader Pritam Singh and Dr. HS Rawat n Kau travel together in same flight raising speculations
Rumours are agog that the cabinet minister in Uttarakhand BJP government who usually remains in controversy to keep his name floating in media Dr.Harak Singh Rawat n Lawmaker Umesh Kumar “Kaw” whose names were earlier speculated to be joining Congress party may likely to be given larger n significant responsibility in BJP but their journey with the former state Congress president n leader of the opposition Pritam Singh from Rishikesh to Delhi has raised several speculations. The three Dr. Rawat, Umesh Kumar Kau ( both from BJP) and Pritam Singh ( Congress) travelled in the same flight from Rishikesh to the national capital, confabulating with each other. There were strong speculations that both, cabinet minister, Harak Singh Rawat and senior BJP leader of Uttarakhand Umesh Kumar Kau, MLA were joining Congress but the central leadership n Anil Baluni, MP RS n party’s national spokesman assured them of important responsibilities etc discouraging them to rebel. Meanwhile, there are reports that while leader of the opposition n former president Pritam Singh has come to Delhi to meet the Congress high command, the BJP leaders n senior lawmakers have been summoned by the central leadership to appease them by giving them important responsibilities to keep them in good humour, especially when state elections are round the corner. The former Congress CM n national general secretary Harish Rawat had opposed the entry of Dr.Harak Singh Rawat in Congress terming him as a sinner who had through horse trading dethroned him as the chief minister of Delhi. Rawat had said that he will never tolerate his entry into Congress come what may but later retracted that if he publicly apologises for his past unethical blunders the Congress can think over his admission to the party. Dr. Rawat had also spewed venom against Harish Rawat by saying that had I been in his place , I would have retired from active politics after losing from two assembly seats in Uttarakhand, further annoying the former CM.
