Congress’s Karnataka bumber victory is Rahul Gandhi’s victory that will impact the 2024 general election by all means say political analysts !
BAJRANG BALIJI STAND WITH THOSE WHO FIGHT EVIL FORCES
CONGRESS party, its leaders and activists at the pan India level are in a jubilant mode after it secured a bumper victory in Karnataka Assembly elections. The party is solidly leading , rather has won on 135 assembly seats with BJP lagging far behind winning on merely 63 seats by the time this news report was being filed. At AICC headquarter, 24 Akbar Road hundreds of jubilant leaders and workers including in Bangalore have started congregating and dancing to the tune of drums including distributing sweets. Several Congress leaders like Pramod Tiwari, Shailja, General secretary AICC Venugopal, vociferous spokesman Pawan Khera, Randeep Singh Surjewala , Jai Ram Ramesh etc have started collecting in the lawns of AICC to welcome Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. The Congress headquarter which gave an empty look during the last few months has today again witnessed hundreds of jubilant Congress workers giving an impression about revival of the party after Karnataka victory earlier being Himachal victory hands down singularly forming the Congress governments obviously diminishing two states from BJP’s bag which also lost Punjab at the hands of the Aam Admi Party where earlier to Congress the SAD BJP combine ruled for several years. The Karnataka election victory in fact is a direct credible victory of Rahul Gandhi who not only completed his over ambitious Bharat Jodo Yatra successfully touching Karnataka but he also campaigned here extensively enticing the love and affection of the electorates. Priyanka Gandhi too has a great contributive role in this victory especially in enticing women voters and youngsters and the significant roles of Malikarjun Kharge, D Shiv Kumar and Sidharamiah also added to this historic victory. According to political analysts while skyrocketing inflation, mass unemployment, extensive corruption has played a most vital role in BJP’s defeat in the southern state, Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification and political vendetta of the saffron party also played an important role to convince voters to go for change for sure, this time as well. The victory of Karnataka is also being witnessed as a step forward to a triumph in the national elections of 2024 and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emerging as an undisputed leader of non BJP opposition parties including as nucleus of opposition unity not fructified till now despite best squeezed efforts of Mamata Bannerjee sidelining Rahul Gandhi. The BJP’s shameful victory despite so much of Hullabaloo, prime minister Narendra Modi addressing more 21 public meetings and using Bajrangbali slogan as their main Trump card has also discredit the charismatic image of their topmost leader who has always been a great inspiring force and magic wand of BJPs victory in the past. According to majority of political analysts the Karnataka election is been seen as a major booster for the Congress party while a great degenerative factor for the ruling BJP which has not only lost Himachal and Karnataka one by one but the credibility as the greater vote catcher image of PM Modi has also been dented to a great extent. Just imagine, few months before Congress was considered as a fully spent force after several important leaders left it and it lost several states, but after the highly impressive Rahul Gandhi’s national Bharat Jodo Yatra meeting cross section of the people, mixing with them cheerfully and addressing hundreds of public meetings at the pan India level inviting cheerful applauds and extremely positive reactions including coverages, it has now become absolutely clear that Rahul Gandhi and Congress party is all set to come ahead with a thundering massive political force of anti BJP opposition unity in the near future challenging BJP and its topmost leader in 2024 national election tooth and nail. What is interesting this time was that the Congress got about 71 seats in Hyderabad – Mysore Karnataka out of 104 seats. The area has large Muslim population who got consolidated against Hindutva Party BJP to vote en bloc for Congress leaving JDS at the mercy of its traditional Vokkaliga community votes only in old Mysore part of the state.
Yes, there was anti incumbency and allegations of corruption against the ruling party which were not substantiated but stuck in people’s mind, majorly.
Karnataka, recorded 73.19 polling this time with BJP keeping its 36% votes share intact and Congress getting 44.4% votes with JDS securing merely 13.3% votes.
