The Central Election Committee of Indian National Congress has declared its 34 candidates out of total 60 seats today. The assembly elections of Arunachal Pradesh and three other states are being held simultaneously with the general elections.
Leaders like Sanhe Phuntsok, Kompu Dolo, Okram Yosung, Tobing Lego have been included in the list released today. There are a total of 60 seats in the state assembly. Congress has fielded Sanhe Phuntsok against BJP candidate and current Arunachal CM Pema Khandu from Mukto-ST seat.
Congress has released the list of 30 seats, almost a week after the Bharatiya Janata Party announced candidates for all 60 seats for the Arunachal Assembly elections 2024.
