CONGRESS LEADER CLOSE TO A FORMER MINISTER FORCIBLY PUT HER OWN LOCK IN THE HOUSE ANOTHER YOUTH CONGRESS NATIONAL SPOKESPERSON. FIR LODGED IN DDUN, VICTIM ALLEGED THRASHING
In Uttarakhand not to talk of muscle power oriented politicians but these days even women politicians are wielding muscle power and are not less behind in leaving behind the men politicians in the political competitions.
Women are always rated a “Maryada naaries” who always used to live in limits proving themselves to be maintaining discipline and decorum in the society, becoming role models for others but what happened in Dehradun definitely worries at least women politicians or those in social services.
According to a news report a Congress leader and activist known to be close to the former cabinet minister Dr.Harak Singh Rawat namely Sonia Anand Rawat who was also one of the chief guests in a session of LANSDOWNE OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION ( LOSA) few months ago has forcibly entered into the flat of another Youth Congress leader Arushi Sundriyal spokesperson in Dehradun and committed a theft of some jewels and other items as claimed by her including putting their own lock over her lock.
An FIR has been registered in the Dalanwala police station on the complaint of Arushi Sundriyal claiming herself to be the national spokesperson of Indian Youth Congress. Another woman namely Mamata Sharma has been named in the FIR alongwith the Congress leader Sonia Anand Rawat . According to her complaint submitted at the Dalanwala police station Aarushi Sundriyal said that she lives in Gujral appartments, Arvind Marg in Dehradun. On 20 August Sonia Anand Rawat and Mamata Sharma forcibly entered her house, best her and committed theft of jewels and costly items etc. Since her health condition wasn’t good she had gone to the hospital for medical treatment. Thereafter coming back she checked the CCTV cameras connected to her phone and found that they have tempered with them and went away after stealing jewels and some costly items etc. Not only this but they put their own lock over the earlier lock said Arushi Sundriyal.
She also blamed the local police for taking no action against the Congress leader close to Dr. Harak Singh Rawat Sonia Anand Rawat and Mamata Sharma.
According to Manoj Mainwal the incharge of Daalanwala Kotwali the FIR has been lodged against Sonia Anand Rawat and Mamata Sharma and the police will pursue the matter ahead legally.
On the other hand Sonia Anand Rawat has catagorically stated that this flat is owned by her friend Mamata Sharma and Arushi was the tenant. The agreement had elapsed three months ago . She was neither vacating the house nor paying the rent. We had gone there to ask her to vacate the house. The charges of beating her are all fabricated said Sonia Anand RAWAT.
