Congress leader Ajay Maken strongly criticizes Arvind Kejrival for unabashedly and brazenly speaking against Rajasthan CM while seeking support from Congress against central ordinance!
The general secretary of All India Congress committee and Rajasthan observer Ajay Maken has today come down heavily on Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival strongly criticizing him for his double standard politics by on the one hand seeking support of Congress party on the central ordinance issue and on the other hand unabashedly criticizing the three time Congress CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot.
Accusing the AAP leader of breaking the non BJP opposition unity and functioning as the B party of the BJP to safeguard himself from going to jail as, two of his former cabinet ministers are already in Tihar Prison Congress leader Ajay Maken said that instead of being a part of non BJP opposition unity, he is conspiratorially trying to break the unity efforts or create impediments on the way.
Accusing Delhi CM and national AAP’s chief spokesman Arvind Kejrival for conspiring to break the opposition unity efforts despite going to Patna Ajay Maken asked how is it possible that on the one hand he ( Kejrival) aspires to get Congress support in his campaign against BJP on central ordinance issue and on the other hand he criticizes the senior Congress leaders? He also criticized the Delhi CM for misusing the public exchequer ‘s 171 crore rupees and misusing it for building a palace no more being a crusader against corruption anymore but an opportunist leader .
In a detailed tweet Ajay Maken wrote :
@INCIndia‘s help for the ordinance, yet unabashedly ridicules our esteemed leaders, including Sh.@ashokgehlot51 and Sh@SachinPilot in Rajasthan. His ministers place prerequisites on our alliance, while their chief spokesperson publicly disparages our party and leaders on the day of All Opposition Party meeting.
To brazenly criticize and then demand support, is this how alliances are sought, Mr. Kejriwal?@ArvindKejriwal‘s political manoeuvres in recent weeks have left many baffled.
However, let me elucidate the truth. His desperate attempts to evade imprisonment on corruption charges, wherein two of his colleagues are already jailed, are reasons for these actions.
His proclamations of opposition unity are not for cohesion but a calculated move to sabotage it and curry favour with the BJP. Past actions of the AAP in Parliament, the Delhi Legislative Assembly, or elsewhere only reinforce their surreptitious alliance with the BJP. Kejriwal’s betrayals are infamous – just ask Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, and the founders of the Anna Movement. In Hindi, it’s aptly said about him, ‘Aisa koi saga nahin, jisko Kejriwal ne Thaga Nahin…’. However, be assured@ArvindKejriwal, your deeds have not gone unnoticed. Your massive corruption and utilization of these ill-gotten funds to sabotage@INCIndia in Goa, Gujarat, Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand, and Assam, just to help the BJP, won’t be forgotten.
Under the guise of ‘Aam Admi’ or ‘Ordinary Man’, you’ve manipulated Delhi’s citizens, using Rs 171 crores of public money to build a palace for yourself. … Your actions have unmasked the grim truth, Mr. Kejriwal. You’re no longer a champion of the ‘Aam Aadmi’ or a crusader against corruption. Instead, you stand knee-deep in corruption, living a lavish lifestyle like a king in your ‘Sheesh Mahal’.
Kindly recall that Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Rajya Sabha AAP MP Sanjay Singh on 23 rd June in Patna didn’t participated in the concluding press conference by Congress n other non BJP opposition leaders Nitish Kumar, Bengal CM Mamta Bannerjee, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge etc unambiguously indicating that since Congress has till date not supported the AAP when they sought its support on central ordinance issue, they too in a way exhibited their annoyance. However, the next opposition conclave has been scheduled to be held in the month of July at Shimla to be hosted by Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. The Congress party is ruling in Himachal Pradesh.
