CONGRESS CHIEF KHARGE COMES DOWN HEAVILY ON BJP LED GOVERNMENT ON LATERAL ENTRY ISSUE BLAMING IT FOR SNATCHING THE JOBS OF SC,ST & OBC
The Congress party has come down heavily on the ruling party of the lateral entry issue accusing the ruling political dispensation for snatching away the reservation from the SC, ST and OBC classes. The chief of the Congress party Mallikarjun Kharge in a post on X wrote that the BJP, which has ripped apart the Constitution, has launched a double attack on reservation ! First, today the Modi government has issued an advertisement to fill at least 45 posts of Joint Secretary, Directors and Deputy Secretary at the Centre through Lateral Entry. Is there reservation for SC, ST, OBC and EWS in this? As part of a well-planned conspiracy, the BJP is deliberately making such recruitments in jobs so that SC, ST, OBC categories can be kept away from reservation. Secondly, the reservation scam in the appointment of 69,000 assistant teachers in UP has now been exposed by the High Court decision. In March 2024, Shri Rahul Gandhi had raised the voice of the deprived candidates by writing a letter to the Prime Minister in the reservation scam of Dalit and backward classes. The Yogi government had filled these posts by doing injustice to the candidates, in which the constitutional right of reservation of Dalit and backward classes was snatched from them. Now we know why the Union Minister from BJP’s ally party had drawn the government’s attention to the irregularities in reservation in jobs. It is necessary to fully implement the provisions of economic, social and political justice enshrined in the Constitution of India. That is why the Congress Party is demanding caste census for social justice wrote Mallikarjun Kharge on X. Meanwhile , the Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi held a crucial meeting with all the senior leaders of Congress in view of the fast approaching election in some states including Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Delhi and Bihar.
