CONGRATULATIONS TO URMI NEGI FOR BAGGING BACK TO BACK FOUR PRESTIGIOUS “YUCA AWARDS” FOR BEST ACTING, BEST DIRECTION AND BEST FILM SUBHERU GHAM BATHAUN – 2 in NEW DELHI

The leading producer, director, actress and script writer Urmi Negi has made quite a flutter in Uttarakhand film industry when her movie SUBHERU GHAM -2 – BATHAUN A SEQUEL OF SUBHERU GHAM ( PART 1) was adjudged as the best and most outstanding movie among all the Uttarakhand movies produced and exhibited in 2024 with Urmi Negi becoming the best actress, and best director.

Subheru GHAM Bathaun part 2 won four back to back YUCA awards for best film, best direction, best music and best actress and the recipient of the prestigious annual awards of Young Uttarakhand Cinema Awards is Urmi Negi, managing director of Snowy Mountain, outstanding actress, writer, director and lyricist – a woman with multifarious dimensions in Bollywood and Uttarakhand film industry also associated with Discovery channel. Bathaun also won the prestigious fourth YUCA award for best music with iconic singer and musician Narendra Singh Negi felicitated with the honour including Pritam Bhartwan and Sanjay Kumola for other films.

Starting from a tiny village of Pauri called Pauri Gaon in Pauri Garhwal district to Bollywood years ago Urmi Negi’s Subheru Gham Bathaun part -2 prior to bagging four back to back YUCA trophies for best Direction, best acting, best music and being the outstanding and best movie among all the Uttarakhand movies is also credited with earning international accolades winning 29 awards in several countries as the best movie with English subtitles earning laurels in several European countries and Western nations including Kolkata Film festival.

The prestigious YUCA awards were presented to Urmi Negi by distinguished personalities at the YUCA AWARD FUNCTION – ONE BEING BY JANARDHAN SHARMA at a glittering well attended event in Jawaharlal Nehru auditorium few days ago on 31 st August, Saturday in the presence of legendary singer , writer, lyricist and musician NARENDRA SINGH NEGI etc.

Kudos to Urmi Negi for her outstanding success in the production and acting in Uttarakhandi films having also acted in several bollywood movies like Swami Dada with Devanand, in Sautan with Rajesh Khanna, with iconic actor , director and producer Devanand and Mithun Chakravorty etc including in several regional Garhwali, Bhojpuri, Nepali and Punjabi movies receiving several outstanding awards earning accolades in Mumbai, Uttarakhand and globally.

Earlier she was awarded for her outstanding contribution in Uttarakhand film making and acting by former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiari, chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami, former chief minister Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat including the chief secretary Radha Raturi who all watched her movies in theatre and personally thanked and congratulated her for such an outstanding production Subheru Gham and its sequel part 2 Bathaaaun.

Meanwhile the iconic comic actor of Uttarakhand having acted in umpteen regional Uttarakhand’s films especially in Garhwali dialect movies Ghana and aka Ghana Bhai was adjudged as a best comic actor and was presented with the life time achievement YUCA awards with Narendra Singh Negi , legendary Garhwali singer, musical, lyricist and poet awarded prestigious YUCA trophy for his protracted fifty years of journey in the field of poetry, singing , writing lyrics and as musician in Garhwali dialects of Uttarakhand’s film industry being one of the most adorable and loved iconic cultural outstanding activist and singer.

Renowned actor and ACP in Delhi police Parmender Rawat was adjudged as the best villain of Uttarakhandi film with his outstanding negative role performance in Garhwali, Kumaoni film CHAKRAVYUH WHILE the same film’s hero bagged the best hero YUCA awards Amid thunderous applause in Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium. Rajesh Naugain, was adjudged as the best hero from film CHAKRAVYUH.
