Cong demands Ganesh Joshi’s resignation
The Congress party, Uttarakhand has demanded immediate resignation of Ganesh Joshi cabinet minister for his involvement in the disproportionate assets case in which the vigilance court has written to the government to grant permission to take immediate legal action against him in various corruption charges as raised by the advocate and RTI activist Vikesh Negi.
The Congress vice president and former state Minister rank holder in Uttarakhand Dhirendra Pratap has demanded immediate resignation of Uttrakhand cabinet Minister Ganesh joshi in view of serious charges of acquiring disproportionate assets to the known sources of income .
In a statement Dhirendra Pratap charged the Cabinet Minister Ganes Joshi for acquiring illegal wealth and said that after the matter has come into the light and the court has also taken the cognisance of the matter it is the moral duty of the Minister to resign, forthwith. He also urged the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to take immediate action against the erring Minister as he is not ready to comply the orders of the court in this matter .
