Cloud burst and heavy rainfall resulted in massive floods with silt and boulders in Dewalsari amd Naugaon area of Uttarkashi destroying dozens of shops, houses and vehicles


In yet another cloudburst incident after massive Dharali and Tharali ecological disaster the ravishing floods with silt, mud and boulders have destroyed several dozen houses and shops turning them into rubble and flood water entering several houses till the chest posing direct threat to the lives of men, women and children including the senior citizens and those suffering from ailments.
This happened in Devalsari and Naugaon, Uttarkashi, Garhwal, Uttarakhand near Yamunotri Highway.
According to the latest news after the cloud bursts and excessive rains the ravishing floods water with silt, mud and boulders entered the market destroying several shops and cars with silt entering there.
The district administration, local administration and Nagar Panchayat team are helping the victims present on the spot including the disaster management teams.
On the incident of heavy rainfall in Naugaon, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the senior officials to help the victims in this hour of crisis.
The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami while expressing his serious concern over this disaster said that on receiving information about damage due to heavy rainfall in Naugaon area of Uttarkashi district, he immediately talked to the District Magistrate and gave instructions to carry out relief and rescue operations on war footing.
District administration, SDRF and NDRF teams have left for the affected area.
Clear instructions have also been given to immediately take the affected people to safe places and ensure that there is no delay in providing all possible help.

Meanwhile in Chenagarh, under Basukedar Tehsil after the massive cloud burst incident the destruction of roads etc was enormous. The SDRF, BRO and the local police is dedicatedly busy in clearing the massive debris of heavy boulders despite having slippery and wet muddy area. The JCB are jn the job and rescue and relief operations are in full swing.
