Choas and protests at the Sarsaram Counting Centre in Rohtas district of Bihar after a truck with empty steel boxes found , entering it





There was chaos in Sarsaram Counting centre in Rohtas district Bihar with hundreds of party supporters of opposition parties levelling serious charges of alleged ” vote theft”, on the administration after they found a truck full of empty steel boxes with the officers saying that nothing is unusual or wrong in it as there is proper entry about the truck entering the counting station and under the CCTV coverage etc being five hundred metres away from the strong room.
The candidates of all the opposition parties, especially Congress and their supporters were badly enraged asking what for was the truck entering the strong room of Counting centre of Sarsaram without their knowledge with steel boxes ?
The situation became so chaotic and tense that the news spread like wild fire with opposition parties ‘ workers accusing it as an attempt for another alleged vote chori, the charge strongly denied by the DM Rohtas district and the SP Mr. Roshan Kumar.
Speaking to the media SP Roshan Kumar said that there are ample number of CCTV cameras inside the precincts at all significant points of the counting stations and there is three layer ample security arrangements with no chances of any wrong doing.
He also refuted the charge of lathi charge on the protestors etc. the DM of Rohtas district Bihar also refuted all the charges saying that after the necessary checking all the steel boxes were empty and there is entry of the movement of the truck in the official registers.
She refuted any charge of wrong doing warning that the situation is tense and the political parties , its leaders and everyone is hereby warned not to create any panic or spread rumours as the administration will not spare such elements found involved in spreading fake news or rumours creating a tense situation.
The Congress leaders reached at the Sarsaram polling station and have given a written complaint with regard to the truck with steel boxes reaching the Sarsaram Counting station without bringing them in confidence or in their prior knowledge.
The situation at the Sarsaram Counting centre seems to be grim and chaotic and the administration has no answer as to why and for what purpose was the truck with empty boxes taken at this counting station without the knowledge of opposition candidates in the election.
