China extends 22 million £ aid to Afghanistan with 3 million Vaccine dozes

An important partner of new Pakistan backed Taliban regime, China has extended a financial Aid of 200 million Yuan ( £22 millions) and three million doses of Covid 19 vaccines for the very first time since the 33 member council of ministers interim government was formed under reclusive supreme leader Akhundzada.

Though China had earlier said that it will first watch and asses the new regime’s performance and weigh various pros and cons before taking any definite stand in terms of recognising it, it became the first country to extend its hand of friendship by sending a massive financial aid as well as thirty lakh doses of Covid 19 vaccines reports “The Independent”.

The Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi made this formal announcement in a meeting on Wednesday with his counterparts neighbouring Afghanistan viz. Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan few days after the complete vacation of its forces from Afghanistan and capital Kabul, losing 13 men in the last leg of it’s forces’ presence at Kabul Airport.

It may be recalled that the Taliban leadership had extended invitations to China, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Russia barring immediate neighbour India, to be present at the time if government formation.

According to the report of “The Independent” Quoting AL Zazeera, Afghanistan is standing at the cross roads said the Chinese foreign minister confronting acute humanitarian crisis.

Wang Yi said that after the situation of security etc improves in Afghanistan, it is willing to extend its support for building various projects including resurrection of the war torn state.

It may be recalled that Pakistan’s proxy, Taliban regime considers giant nation China as its invaluable partner, fully banking on it, for massive economic aid to build new projects and repair of the damaged Afghanistan on the lines of Pakistan where China has invested 40 million dollars on CPEC.

Chinese foreign minister Wang hi said that it will judge Taliban by its actions and conduct in future not words as it has been presently giving so much of assurances.

We have made it absolutely clear that China favours an inclusive government that gives adequate representation to all communities and sections of the society.

The current caretaker Taliban government is without a single woman representation.
