Chandrababu Naidu is the richest CM owning wealth of Rs 931crores with Mamata Bannerjee , Delhi CM Atishi at the lowest ebb in terms of wealth

In India, a country with 11.28% people suffering from multi dimensional poverty, the majority of the politicians are the richest with their incomes exhibited party in election declarations though in terms of accumulation of unaccounted wealth etc they are not less than ultra rich industrialists. The report of Association of Democratic reforms which brings to forth various undisclosed resources and sources of income has made yet an another startling revelations about the incomes of some chief ministers of our country making everyone bite their nails. According to the latest report of ADR the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandra Babu Naidu on whose support the BJP led NDA government is running smoothly with the support of Nitish Kumar’s JD ( U) strength , own the maximum wealth among all the chief ministers of the country. He has the total wealth of whopping Rs 931 crores just in stark contrast with the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee who is on the lowest padestal in terms of income accumulation. The ADR reports says that the average self income of a chief minister in India is Rs. 13,64,310 which is nearly 7.3 times more than the average per capita income of India. While the chief minister of Arunachal Pema Khaandu is second richest after Chandra Babu Naidu owning the wealth of 332.57 but he still has the credit of Rs 180 crores. However, the chief minister of Bengal known for wearing a Hawai chappal Mamata Bannerjee is the lowest income generating woman CM with her total wealth accounted for Rs.15.38 only which includes her property too. This information was given to the election commission at the time of filing her nomination by Mamata Bannerji reveal the news report. This means that Chandra Babu Naidu, the TDP chief and CM AP has six hundred times more wealth than the Bengal CM. What is interesting to note in the ADR reports disclosing the wealth/ income etc of all CMs of the country , among the ten richest chief ministers , five are from regional parties and three BJP while two from Congress. According to the ADR report Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh is the second richest CM with assets worth Rs 332.57 crore. He also has the highest liabilities of Rs 180 crore. The chief ministers with the highest annual income in the recent financial year are BJP’s newly-elected Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Rs 38.74 lakh, Meghalaya’s Conrad Sangma at Rs 29.58 lakh and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at Rs 28.78 lakh. Out of 31 Chief Ministers, 9 have mentioned business as their source of income in their election affidavits, while 22 CMs have mentioned politics or social work. The report reveals that the Congress CM of Karnataka Siddaramaiah has declared the property worth Rs. 52 crores while CM of Jammu Kashmir Pmar Abdullah’s wealth is 55. 24 lakh rupees . The CPM leader and Kerala CM Punarayi Vijayan has the property of merely Rs.1.20 crores. The CM of Nagaland Nefiyu Rio has the property worth rupees 46 crores with Rs 8 lakhs to be returned against credit. Similarly the Assam CM has the property worth Rs 17 crores with credit of Rs.3 crores to be returned back. Madhya Pradesh CM, BJP Mohan Yadav has the property worth Rs. 42 crores with the credit of eight crores pending. The chief minister of the biggest Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditya Nath has merely the property of Rs.one crore. The chief minister if Delhi Atishi and the Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal are the owner of properties of Rs one crore each with no credit against them.
