After Delhi girl winning her Miss Universe prestigious title of outstanding beauty with exemplary intelligence ” MISS UNIVERSE” followed by Lara Dutta in the year 2000, after two decades there is a fantastic news for India, when 21 ear old Harnaaz Sandhu bagged this unique Crown at Eilat Israel as the 70 th Miss Universe.
This outstanding victory in the universe beauty contest brought tears of joy in the eyes of Harnaaz when her name was declared.
According to the news pouring in – Miss Universe 21 Harnaaz Sandhu of Chandigarh came first with the contestants of Paraguay and South Africa coming second and third.
The popular picture shows Harnaaz wiping her tears of joy in shock after she was declared Miss Universe 2021.
The last year’s Miss Universe of Mexico Andrea Meza passed her Crown to Harnaaz making India proud.
Kindly recall that having acted in two Punjabi films Harnaaz Sandhu has been in beauty contests since the age of 17.
Primarily an actress and a model, Harnaaz is from Chandigarh she studied in Shivalik Public School and did her post graduate from Government Girls college win the Femina Punjab title in beauty contest in 2019 and participated in Miss Diva, 2021 representing Punjab in Hotel Hyatt Regency Mumbai. Proficient in Hungarian, German, French Slovak, English and Hindi languages Harnaaz has passed her post graduation in Public Administration and is also an IT professional apart from being a model and actress having acted in two Punjabi movies.
Miss Universe contest was commenced in the year 1950 considered as a prestigious international beauty contest with the contest taking two week’s time at the end of the year for the contestants from around the world prove their outstanding abilities as a uniquely beautiful and intelligent worth girl proving their exemplary worth. About 100 beautiful girls participate in this international event facing tedious tests pertaining to their beauty, intelligence, conversation and presentation etc.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Harnaaz Sandhu on being crowned Miss Universe.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;
