The Delhi unit of Communist Party of India has strongly protested against the Union government’s education department and Delhi government as well for arbitrarily closing down the central school with the students capacity of 1200 at Badarpur. The CPI, Delhi state council secretary Professor Dinesh Varshney has written a strong letter to Dharmendra Pradhan, union education minister to immediately reopen this central school or be ready to face the string protest of the Communist Party of if India. In a strong letter the secretary of CPI, Delhi state Dinesh Varshney wrote that we have been informed by the parents of the students of the Central School Badarpur Delhi that this school has been closed despite the school having adequate strength of 1200 students. Dinesh Varshney said that this attempt to close this school arbitrarily is an attempt to encourage the private public school owners entice poor students to seek admission in their schools with exorbitant fees. Terming this decision to victimize the working class and marginalised parents to devoid their children studying in Central school at cheaper rates as anti people attitude the CPI secretary Dinesh Varshney said that the labour class who have not even been getting the minimum wages will suffer a lot if this school is not reopened as the exorbitant fees of the private public schools is beyond their capacity to pay. He warned that if the needful is not dine forthwith the CPI will strongly protest and oppose this arbitrary decision of the central government’s education department forthwith.
