Celebrated journalist Vinod Dua in critical condition beyond critical reports her daughter, request from prays
The celebrated journalist 67 years old Vinod Dua who’d lost his wife few months ago during Covid times, is in a critical condition having been undergoing treatment in a Gurugram hospital in Intensive care unit. Acoording to latest news pouring in her daughter who is a comic artist by profession namely Mallika Dua has through an Instagram informed about his father’s critical illness n subsequent treatment in a Gurugram hospital in ICU terming it as beyond critical. He has now been shifted to Appollo ICU after his health condition deteriorated further.
The Instagram post reads : My papaji is beyond critical in the ICU. His health has been deteriorating rapidly since April. He is also unable to come to terms with losing the light if his life. He has lived an extraordinary life and given us the same. He deserves no pain He is immensely loved and revered and I request you a to pray that he experiences as little a pain as possible. It mY be recalled that a popular journalist for the last four decades in NDTV , Doordarshan n several other news channels with his own started few years ago with investigative political stories, speaking fearlessly and boldly against the ruling political dispensation on vital issues, he was also wrapped up with a case of sedition later on quashed by the honourable court. During the second wave of the pandemic Vinod Dua and his wife were hospitalised for several months infected with dreaded Covid in which his wife, who was by profession a radiologist Chinna Dua hac succumbed to the disease. Vinod Dua had however survived, but since then he had not been keeping good health and was under regular treatment.
