  2. Good morning bhaiji.
Yesterday we lost Gen Bipin Rawat sir, Mrs Rawat and 11 Armed Forces personnel in a tragic Mi17 Helicopter crash over Nilgiri hills near Wellington. In this tragedy, we lost our first CDS, President AFWWA, highly skilled pilots, technicians and special forces personnel.
Knowing Gen Rawat and his charismatic nature, dynamism and leading from the front, knowning the terrains of Nilgiri- Coimbatore/ Sulur air route and having traveled in Mi17 copule of times while in service, it is very difficult to realise, visualise and believe the tragic loss of so many lives. इसलिए निशब्द हैं. But this may be the destiny of these brave hearts and we have no choice but to sink this truth into our minds.
Gen Rawat, a down to Earth & humble person with so much strategic depth and a true soldier had changed the thought process of national Defence building through his pro-active thinking, pro-active approach, modernisation of Armed Forces, Atmanirbhar Bharat, encouraging indiginisation & innovation, re-organisation of Armed Forces into Theatre Commands and many national Defence buildings schemes have steered India into many higher pinnacles. And, I sincerely believe, a true tribute to Gen Rawat sir would be to carry forward his vision of national security building with vigour.
