Cath Lab inaugurated in Shrinagar hospital by Governor of Uttarakhand( Retd) Lt. General Gurmeet Singh
The Governor of Uttarakhand ( Rtd.) Lt. General Gurmeet Singh has inaugurated the introduction of a Cath Lab in Rajkiya Medical College Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Research Institute in the presence of the Member if parliament of Garhwal Anil Baluni, Uttarakhand health minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Medical education director Ashutosh Shayana and the principal of Shrinagar Medical College Dr. M.S.Rawat. The head of the department of Cardiology Dehradun Dr.Amar Upadhyay has given all the necessary information about the new Cath Lab bring set up here. After the inauguration if the new Cath Lab the Governor of Uttarakhand Retd Lt General Gurmeet Singh and other dignitaries have also planted trees on this ocassion. The Governor of Uttarakhand has expressed his jubilation over the setting up of the new Cath lab saying that currently there are twenty lakh patients depending on the treatment of the Shrinagar Base hospital and after setting of this Cath lab lots of patients going to the hospitals of Dehradun n metropolises for the treatment of cardiac diseases would be immensely benefitted. Creating a humour during his speech the Governor said that though the health minister Dr.Dhan Singh Rawat is not a medical doctor but he is a perfect doctor of politics and has all dexterity to carry out the people centric issues with good outcomes. He said that the Chardham is the spinal chord for entire Uttarakhand and similarly Shrinagar Garhwal for the devotees n pilgrims who passed through it. When people during the Char Dham Yatra suffer from heart ailments we are badly worried. Now the setting up of this new Cath Lab will serve as a powerful asset to cure patients suffering from Cardiac related ailments said the Governor. The Governor Gurmeet Singh said that during COVID times we confronted tremendous challenges and then only we really that our doctors, nurses and the paramedics are the true fighters. He said that the setting up of this lab wi give immense energy and support to these fighters who will now be able to render best possible treatment to the heart patients. He urged the Garhwal member of parliament to use his political influence and dj something can Crete to improve the lot of the women of Uttarakhand. The Garhwal Member if Parliament Anil Baluni and the minister of Health Uttarakhand also spoke on this ocassion.
