TRIAL UNDER GANGSTER ACT TO BE COMMENCED AGAINST THE THREE CULPRITS OF ANKITA BHANDARI CASE
It’s an established natural fact that a sinner how much influential he or she may be politically or otherwise but the shackles of law finally bring them to justice. The culprits of the Nirbhaya brutal murder in Delhi Vasant Vihar running bus after her obnoxious gangrape got capital punishment and were hanged till death after being tried by the media and fast track judicial activism.
In Ankita Bhandari case of Garhwal Uttarakhand too though every effort has been made to allegedly patronise the culprits by those in power but inspite all this, the culprits are currently in jail and being tried by the sessions court of Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal with a SLP for CBI probe and to know the real VIP behind this tragedy already pending in the Supreme Court of India filed by journalist and activist Ashutosh Negi.
Few days back the main culprit Pulkit Arya whose father and brother were the state minister rank holder in BJP government , now expelled from the party has been shifted to Almora jail from Chamoli for manhandling the jailer.
The FIR has already been registered against him in Chamoli police station by the Jailer concerned.
Meanwhile, according to the latest news a new trial against all the three culprits in Ankita Bhandari case under gangster act will be pursued in the GANGSTER SPECIAL COURT in Dehradun.
The police have charged the three criminals of Ankita Bhandari case Pulkit Arya, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankita Gupta under Gangster Act for hatching a pre strategic conspiracy to form an organised gang which used to carry out the criminal activities in various parts of Uttarakhand.
According to the prosecution the organised gang of these three persons have from 2009 to 2022 carried out various suspicious criminal activities in and outside the Vanantara resort, Rishikesh under the jurisdiction of police station Lakshman Jhula , Pauri Garhwal district.
The gang has carried out the illegal criminal activities, minted lot of money through unfair means and carried out criminal activities.
There had already been several criminal cases registered against them revealed the news reports. The court found all the evidence against them as credible proofs and accorded permission to commence the trial under the Gangster Act.
According to the Special Gangster Court judge Mahesh Chand Koshiba now the case will commence against these hardened criminals forthwith. It may be recalled that the case against gangster act was registered against these three culprits after the Ankita Bhandari case finding them duly involved in forming a gang and carrying out illegal criminal activities in their Vanantara resort and outside, in the Lakshmanjhula police station.
