Candle March on Ankita Bhandari case demanding CBI probe under the monitoring of a senior judge of the apex court at GARHWAL BHAWAN ON 11 TH JANUARY




The biggest representative social organisation of Garhwalies, Uttarakhand in the national capital formed 102 years ago in Queta Pakistan with its headquarter Garhwal Bhawan, Panchkuian Road in Delhi is organising a massive candle march at the GB precincts on 11 th January from 6 PM onwards to demand the CBI probe in Ankita Bhandari case, a protracted demand of Uttarakhandies since the day the 19 year old innocent girl of Shrikot village , Pauri Garhwal was first sexually assaulted, asked to render extra services to a VIP and on denying was brutally murdered and thrown in Chila canal.
There are spate of protest demonstrations in Uttarakhand and various parts of the nation by the inhabitants of Uttarakhand etc. including two back to back tumultuous demonstrations at Jantar Mantar and at Dehradun on 4 th January attended by thousands of outraged citizens badly disenchanted by the present political dispensation.
The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami has in a PC yesterday at Dehradun said that he will first speak to the parents of Ankita Bhandari and then take any concrete decision but have not given his affirmation on the question by Media for an impartial CBI probe under the monitoring of the senior retired Supreme Court judge.
Thousands of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha Members,intellectuals,writers, advocates, theatre activists, artists,socio political activist journalists and people from all sections of the society are likely to participate in this candle march to demand justice for Ankita Bhandari and CBI probe with a SC judge monitoring it.
