Bus heading for Haldwani from Delhi hits a tractor trolley full of rice killing the driver with several bus passengers injured
Fatal accidents have become synonymous with Uttarakhand as not a day is passed when this Himalayan state does not witness any accident of fatal nature. Everyone is worried as to when would this trend decreases if not comes to an end. The frequent deadly accidents on every alternate day , sometimes happening daily with several brutal deaths especially during the monsoons and ecological disasters including on winters due to fog, speeding vehicles, sometimes drivers under the influence of liquor, pot holes on roads, blind turns , over loading and drivers sleeping during driving due to over work and several other factors , it seems that the government of the day and the departments concerned are hardly doing anything credible to control this dreaded menace. Today , yet another fatal accident has occured at Bilaspur in Uttarakhand when a Uttarakhand roadways bus from Delhi to Haldwani UK-O4-PA-2187 badly hit a trolley fully filled with rice. The accident was so dangerous that the trolley and bus were completely damaged killing the driver on the spot. Several passengers inside the bus have been injured. The accident was occured at Bilaspur police station when the roadways bus heading for Haldwani from Delhi went out of control badly crashing into the the tractor trolley filled with rice. The deceased driver’s name is Ramandeep Singh. All the injured passengers have been admitted in Bilaspur hospital under treatment right now.
