Bus carrying 28 passengers hits a wall. Major accident averted on Medanpur sliding Zone on Gaurikund national Highway, though driver n several passengers injured severely

After six people died in a serious Bolero accident the other day on Gangotri highway in Garhwal, Uttarakhand after it fell down in a deep gorge, sending shock waves all around another serious accident was fortunately averted when a bus full of twenty eight tourists/ passengers hit a wall on Gaurikund national highway near Medanpur sliding zone. Though this tragedy was fortunately averted but the driver of the bus became unconscious due to injuries other passengers were also severely injured say the latest news.

According to the latest report the police personel reached the spot thereafter and ferried the injured in their vehicles to the nearby hospital. The SDM of the area Prabodh Kumar Ghildiyal and the Road Transport Officer also reached the spot to assess the situation and extend the possible assistance to the injured including the police post incharge of Tilwada Satendra Singh Negi and police personel. The injured driver and other passengers of this accident were send to Tilwada, health care centre for necessary treatment by the police in their vehicles. The incident occurred on Saturday when the bus carrying twenty eight passengers hit a wall on Medanpur sliding zone in Garhwal on Gaurikund national Highway, fortunately all safe but injured.
