Brand new Scorpio and Alto completely damaged in excessive rain water with tons of Mud n silt near Tharali market in Kumaon division

While in the national capital people are reeling under acute heat wave with temperature going up to 41 degree celcius and stray dogs and construction workers having a hardest day with humans and dogs literally dying of dehydration and heat waves, in Uttarakhand rains have started with several rivulets mounting up with excessive water destroying roads and pathways with tons of mud and silt capsizing the vehicles and cars literally fully submerged therefore completely destroyed near Tharali market.

Today in Kumaon division one such rivulet among several others have mounted with excessive rain water accompanying tons of mud and silt with it literally resulting in two vehicles one brand new Scorpio and other Alto being fully submerged, completely damaged , of no use in future. The rivulet water has with excessive mud, silt and boulders damaged the main road and taken these vehicles plying on main road into its control submerging and damaging them fully. In Uttarakhand while ecological catastrophe are very common but are sadly man made.

Even in Dehradun the temperature has spiked to 36 degrees celcius in the initial days of summer season and excessive rains result in mounting flood waters creating Havoc.

There is no doubt that rising of Skyscrapers, massive construction, felling of trees on mass scale, increasing traffic, so called tourism enhancement, all weather roads deforestation and railway project making our already weak mountains victims of massive deforestation and more hollow from inside inviting ecological catastrophes, massively increasing footfalls in the name of pilgrimage including millions of vehicles polluting hills n our pious rivers are some of the vital reason for Hills and Dehradun converting into a furnace. The so-called unfriendly environmental development in the name of excessive commercialization, massively increasing tourism, building malls, resorts, huge buildings cutting trees massively etc are adding to the existing heat. The vision less leaders are responsible for this and nothing else. Conscious citizens should intervene.
