Both party leaders on alert mode claiming to form govt. Congress’s main leaders Harish Rawat and Godiyal to rush to Delhi with Pritam Singh already here

As the date of counting is coming nearer with just four five days left, the counting being on 10 th March, the leaders of both the national parties BJP n Congress are making necessary preparations in advance to ensure that their candidates and counting agents remain on alert mode with necessary instructions and training given to them, to be extra vigilant.

The senior key leaders of BJP and Congress have started establishing contacts with central leaders and their God fathers to ensure that in case their party comes to power, they grab the CMs chair.

While in BJP the prime minister Narendra Modi and union minister Amit Shah had in their various public meetings already patted the back of the present youthful CM Pushkar Singh Dhami for his energetic leadership under whose leadership the elections were contested and even declared him as the next CM, in Congress three leaders are mainly trying their luck for the top post with veteran Congress leader and former CM Harish Rawat being number one claimant despite the party not officially declaring him the Congress party’s prospective CM.

His strong opponent within the party, former state chief and now leader of the opposition in the assembly Pritam Singh Rawat is leaving no stone unturned to impress the central High command to give him an opportunity to lead the state by hobnobbing with senior leaders of anti Harish Rawat camp reveal sources.

His strained relations with Harish Rawat are well known to everyone, who was strategically sidelined prior to elections by Rawat who appointed his protege Ganesh Godiyal in his place.

However, there are reports that Ganesh Godiyal too has now become over ambitious to try his luck for the top slot.

While the former Congress chief Pritam Singh has already left for Delhi yesterday, there are reports that Ganesh Godiyal is reaching Delhi this evening with Harish Rawat too going to the national capital.

The three leaders visit to Delhi, who are claimant for the state CM ship raises several questions, despite the fact that all these leaders had termed their Delhi visit as personal one and to meet senior leaders to discuss party matters and regarding arrangements on counting day etc.

But sources reveal that extremely confident of forming their government in Uttarakhand, all these ambitious three aspirants for the top slot have gone to the national capital to meet their respective leaders n meet Rahul Gandhi as well.

This unambiguously speaks of the fact that they are leaving no chances to keep themselves intact in the race for chief minister’s post.

However, sources say that Harish Rawat stands better chances as the next Congress CM in case the party stands victorious because Rawat’s candidates are comparatively in good numbers. Moreover, in majority of the earlier opinion poll surveys Harish Rawat has been rated as the number one popular CM of Uttarakhand with all party CM nominees lagging behind clearly indicating that he is the choice of majority populace of the hilly state.

But nobody wants to miss the bus as in politics nothing is certain and prefixed say news analysts.

Some say that since Rawat has not been declared the prospective CM during elections despite his best efforts, by the central High command and shifting him to Lalkuan from Ram Nagar, it ambiguously indicate that the central high command is not favouring him much and have kept of option open for a new CM via voting in the CLP or on the then available circumstances.

Moreover, some senior central leaders within Congress including the Uttarakhand observer Devendra Yadav etc are believed to be allegedly working against Rawat, trying to sideline him from the race of CM favouring Pritam Singh or the new Congress state chief Ganesh Godiyal because of Rawat’s controversial image as well n with the intent to side line him day some news analysts.

Meanwhile, in BJP several senior leaders like central minister and Uttarakhand Incharge Prahalad Joshi and several other leaders including former union Education minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishak have reached Dehradun.

Nishank was few days ago called by senior party leaders and is believed to have been given the important responsibility to be in touch with all the party lawmakers and even independents to bring them in party’s fold in case chances of a hung assembly results arrive. Dr. Nishank is considered to be a good political manipulator and a senior party leader well versed with managing things as a trouble shooter.

However, the BJP has been repeatedly announcing of bringing more than 60 seats and Congress claiming victory on 48 seats respectively.

The Congress party’s Uttarakhand observer Devendra Yadav n spokesman Mr Ballabh etc are coming to Dehradun to monitor the counting arrangements etc.

Similarly the BJP is also giving training to its counting agents at the Uttarakhand level asking them to be over vigilant.

All eyes of both the parties are also on the postal ballot votes and service postal votes, also.

It may be recalled that there had been 62 percent voting in Uttarakhand this time, three percent lass than 2017 when the poll percentage was 65%.
