The mother of super star of Bollywood and son in law of the first and original super star of Indian Film Industry Rajesh Khanna, Akhay Kumar, namely Aruna Bhatia has breathed her last in a Mumbai’s Hiranandani hospital where she was admitted since the last few days undergoing treatment for an ailment. There were scores of prayer wishes for the expeditious victory of Akshay’s mother. Just a few days ago the prominent actor Akshay Khanna had flown back to Mumbai to London after acknowledging the news about his mother’s bad health and admission in the intensive care unit of a private hospital. He was in London busy in the shooting of his film Cindrella. Akshay Kumar had then thanked his fans and followers for praying for his mother’s recovery by tweeting : Touched beyond words for your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayers of yours will greatly help. Bollywood actor is immensely connected to his mother emotionally and after learning about her deteriorating health he wasted no time to cancel his shooting engagements and rushed back to Delhi asking the producer to shot other scenes that do not have his role so that he may join them later according to HT. Hearing the shocking news, Akshay Kumar gave the information of the tragic news through a tweet today morning deeply anguished in his mother’s tragic demise. He tweeted : She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My Maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this, world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world.
