While The Kashmir Files was produced with an investment of merely Rs 20 crores earning multiple profits, exploiting the sentiments of the Kashmiris n hindu population all over the globe on Kashmiri Pundits sorrowful tale of the nineties, the Lal Singh Chaddha movie of Amir Khan couldn’t make it on box office – coming into controversy on the call of Hindu protagonists to ban it and forbidding the majority population not to see it. The film was produced with Rs. 180 crores. It is believed that the loss of nearly Rs 100 crores was borne by Amir Khan who accepted it in all humility. Meanwhile, one of the producers of The Kashmir Files Vivek Agnihotri had bought a luxurious Bungalow worth Rs 17.9 crores in Mumbai, on thirtieth floor of Varsova’s Parthenon Towers as per the news of Economic Times. The splendid apartment developed by Ecstacy Reality spreads over a 3,258 square feet area and comes with three car parking slots. This is the same building in which Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a 12000 square feet new apartment on the 31st Floor. Bollywood actress Pallavi Joshi who was the main character in the movi Kashmir Files is the wife of Vivek Agnihotri. The property bought on September 27 with a stamp duty of 1.07 crores.
