BJP Uttarakhand Chief and MP shown black flags at Gopeshwar demanding justice for Ankita Bhandari

The Ankita Bhandari case has generated so much of resentment among the activists of Congress and Uttarakhand Kranti Dal against the BJP party and its government in Uttarakhand that almost everywhere in the Himalayan state protests are still going on and their leaders being Gheraoed and shown the black flags to register their protest and annoyance.

The Uttarakhand BJP chief and Rajya Sabha controversial MP Mahendra Bhatt was today compelled to confront the vociferous protest and black flags demonstrations at Rudraprayag where he had gone as chief guest to inaugurate the PG COLLEGE GAMES AT THE KHEL MAIDAAN.

According to the latest news when the Rajya Sabha MP was heading towards the destined venue at Rudraprayag the vociferous activists of Congress and UKD came before his cavalcade and exhibited black flags shouting tremendously raising slogans Mahendra Bhatt go back, Go back.

The large posse of policemen have to intervene and literally use the force to desist the protestors taking them forcibly on the side of the road to let the cavalcade reach the fixed venue.

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP state president Mahendra Bhadra, who reached Gopeshwar sports ground to inaugurate sports competitions under the MP Championship Trophy, was opposed by the party workers by showing black flags.

They demanded justice for Anita Bhandari. Activists from the Uttarakhand movement also participated in the protest.

When the police stopped them, a scuffle broke out between them.

On this occasion, many activists including Congress leader Sandeep and Garondia, NSUI district president Surya Prakash Purohit, city president Yogendra Singh Bich, Mahendra Negi were present.
