BJP MAY GIVE HARIDWAR AND GARHWAL TO RAWAT AND BALUNI WHILE ALMORA, NAINITAL AND TEHRI WILL HAVE AJAY TAMTA, AJAY BHATT AND MAHARANI AS BJP CANDIDATES

While the opposition Congress party is busy shortlisting its candidates on five parliamentary seats in Garhwal and Kumaon division of Uttarakhand where the BJP is ruling for the last decade and Congress finding it hard to give powerful and effective candidates as there isn’t much enthusiasm among their ticket claimants, in BJP the party high command is desirous of clearing the candidature in all the five seats at the earliest. There had been speculations about the top BJP leadership changing sitting candidates on three seats out of five to avoid anti incumbency due to poor performance of the sitting MPs and also to adjust the more energetic and vote catching candidates. If the latest reports from reliable sources are to be believed after tremendous exercise and repeated thoughts and evaluation, the party high command in consultation with the state leadership has come to the conclusion to repeat Maharani Rajalakshmi , sitting MP from Tehri , sitting MP Ajay Tamta from Almora and union state minister of defence from Nainital Udham Singh Nagar seat whereas the sitting MP from Garhwal parliamentary constituency and former CM Tirath Singh Rawat is being replaced by none other but Anil Baluni , a blue eyed boy of PM and national media incharge of BJP. The Haridwar seat seems to be going to Trivendra Singh Rawat former CM , close to union home minister Amit Shah in place of sitting MP and former union education minister Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank whose education ministry too was taken back last time. Earlier there were news about replacement of Ajay Tamta by Rekha Arya, minister in Uttarakhand government but the incessant proactiveness of Ajay Tamta in his constituency and being continuously stay put in Almora including working hard during the assembly elections earning the goodwill and attention of central leadership being active in social media platform and various ground party events as well, has finally brought good results favourably for him. Similarly union defence and tourism state minister and MP from Nainital Ajay Bhatt was successful in impressing the central and state leadership especially PM through his outstanding ministerial performance and in the constituency as well. In the case of Maharani Rajyalakshmi , she being a credible Rajput and a daughter in law of the prestigious Mararajas of Garhwal, with the Tehri seat being incessantly won by her father in law 5- six times and then by her despite her not being so active in the constituency , the high command has given her grace as there was no credible alternative to this reputed family of kings, since time immemorial and taken as the incarnation of Lord Badrinath.
