BJP leader accuses state party leaders for sheer negligence and mismanagement of state election. Says the hostile BJP candidates may harm the party. Writes to Nadda

As the date of counting is approaching near in Uttarakhand, the desperate leaders of BJP and Congress are expressing their claims of forming their respective governments with a comfortable majority but their are several leaders of the saffron party who are still claiming of the hostility in BJP and several responsible leaders of the party being directly responsible for working against their own candidates and also managing the elections deliberately.

This charge is particularly in Haridwar district from where the BJP state president Madan Kaushik was himself the candidate and majority of the BJP leaders and even contestants have been accusing him of total non co operation as well as conspiring for their defeats.

The vociferous Laksar candidate from Haridwar district Sanjay Gupta had just a few days ago openly accused BJP state chief Madan Kaushik of conspiring to ensure defeats of few party candidates in the district. He had said that in view of the possible consequences he had raised his views after the election. This revelation had created quite a furore in the party getting hype in media.

However, yesterday another important leader of Uttarakhand and Haridwar BJP Mahamandaleshwar Yatindranand Giri, who had contested the parliament election from Haridwar on BJP ticket has also openly accused the state BJP leadership n leaders of conspiring to defeat the party candidates and the senior leaders being responsible for the saffron party’s possible defeat as they themselves contested from various seats instead of campaigning for party candidates and could also not appease or satisfy the hostile candidates who contested from various seats against the party candidate likely to defeat them, giving clear cut advantage to the opposition Congress party.

He had written a letter to the party president J. P. Nadda highlighting these points and specifically mentioning that the BJP state leaders without naming, but unambiguously referring to the state president n other senior leaders being responsible for the poor state of affairs during elections as they were not only non serious and negligent but had also done nothing to appease or pacify the hostile candidates who contested against the BJP candidates from various constituencies, weakening the BJP’s prospects.

He catagorically wrote that the sheer negligence of state leaders led to total mismanagement of the elections that may harm the party to a great extent resulting in several defeats as well wrote BJP leader Mahamandleshwar Yatindranand Giri to BJP national chief J. P. Nadda.

Meanwhile, the former chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat who had refused to contest from his Doiwala seat, Dehradun has expressed his desire to contest from any parliamentary seat either Tehri Or Pauri Garhwal, if the high command wishes so. However he said that he will continue to work for the party with dedication.

He reiterated that the BJP is winning with a landslide victory and forming the government in Uttarakhand though the number of seats may decrease.
