Bihar has 1 Lakh 44 Aids patients said minister Mangal Pandey in Bihar Legislative Council

There is a very sensitive news coming in from Bihar where a startling revelation has been made about Acquired Immune Deficiency ( AID)  Syndrome disease  which was once an extremely dangerous disease from which everyone panicked.

Though after a big gap,  the Bihar State Minister for Health has shockingly revealed that in Bihar there are still 1 Lakh 44 persons suffering from dreaded AIDs disease.

The minister Mangal Pandey  made this startling revelation while responding to a calling attention motion in the Bihar  Legislative Council ( Vidhan Parishad) .

The calling attention motion in this question  was laid by Dr. Rajya Vardhan Azad and others.

While furnishing the details about the AIDs cases and the subsequent medical remedial measures being adopted by the state government, the state health minister Mangal Singh  informed that free AIDS testing facility and counselling is available at 196 integrated counselling and testing centres in various government institutions of the state.

It may be recalled that on Tuesday, nine legislative council mbers including Dr. Rajvardhan Azad, raised this important and serious matter  in the Bihar Legislative Council while delivering his address.

He seriously expressed his  concern for public safety and theembers  demanded specific answers from the government regarding prevention and treatment of the infection.

The House was informed that 13 districts in Bihar have been classified as “high risk,” zones where the rate of infection is very high.

The government is doing everything possible to ensure that the best medical treatment is given to the patients suffering from AIDs said the minister Mangal Pandey.
