



The historic Badrinath Dhar Portal was opened to public today after opening of the Kedarnath Dham and Gangotri Yamunotri two days ago.
The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the opening ceremony at Badrinath Dham too after Kedarnath Dham and paid his obeisance to Lard Badrinath with the chief priest Rawal Dharmadhikari performing the traditional puja amid spiritual hymns. Thousands of pilgrims were present on the first day of Badrinath Dham’s opening day. The Rajya Sabha MP, BJP state chief Mahendra Bhatt was also present on this ocassion.
The chief minister met the pilgrims, shook hands with them and also took the assesment of the various modernisation works going on in this vicinity.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said after performing ritualistic worship at Bhu-Vaikunth Shri Badrinath Dham, he met the devotees present in the temple premises who had come for the Chardham Yatra from all over the country and abroad and acknowledged feedback regarding the facilities and arrangements available on the travel route.
Under the able leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our double engine government is working to revive various religious places of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and give them a new identity at the global level said the CM.
With the blessings of Lord Badri Vishal, I can definitely say that Chardham Yatra 2025 will set new records this year in terms of the number of devotees and arrangements assured Pushkar Singh Dhami, state chief minister. He said : During this time, he also got information about various development works being carried out in the Dham under the master plan with the aim of providing better facilities to the devotees and local people. He also participated in the bhandaara organized there and distributed prasad to the devotees.
He said that the disaster that struck Jyotirmath in 2023 which adversely affected about 20% of the area and where cracks appeared on a large scale – the central government has sanctioned an amount of ₹ 1700 crores for Jyotirmath, which will be spent on sewerage, reconstruction and preventing the problem of waterlogging here.
He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
Home Minister Amit Shah for providing all possible support for the Joshimath complications.
The entire Badrinath Dham which is run by the Badrinath Kedarnath Mandir Samitee has decorated the entire temple with saffron and red colour thousands of flowers giving an enchanting look.
