Badly hurt captain Amarinder Singh pledges not to let Sidhu become Punjab CM after blaming Rahul and priyanka Gandhi. Squabble in UK Congress n BJP too

Despite the new dalit chief minister having been installed in Punjab, things do not look fully settled especially after it’s outgoing chief minister who ruled the state for over ten years feeling badly hurt n insulted by former Congress chief Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi calling them highly inexperienced and surrounded by wrong and inefficient political advisors. Though pledging to be in Congress party despite his unceremonious ouster seventy nine years old captain Amarinder Singh has vowed to fight within party for justice and teach the state president Navjyot Singh Sidhu a strong lesson, come what may by countering him on every front tooth and nail, ensuring that he doesn’t become Punjab CM in future, the state to go to polls early next year.

The statements of Captain Amarinder Singh against his bete noire Navjyot Singh Sidhu and other central leaders are understandable but openly speaking the language of a rebel against Nehru Gandhi scions Rahul n Priyanka Gandhi openly accusing them of wrong doings by intentionally ousting him from the chief minister’s post conspiratorially when he proved to be a valuable asset for the party in Punjab by bringing it back to power in 2017 n also ensuring the MPs win in the last general elections against the Modi SAD tide, unambiguously speaks of the fact that all is not well in Punjab Congress.

Captain Amrinder Singh’s rebellion posture against the central High command not only amounts to his resorting to a head on collision course being in the party but also gives enough credence to G 23 leaders within the party who challenged the Congress president Sonia Gandhi, led by senior Congress leader Kapil Sibbal.

It may be recalled that after the bad defeat of the Congress in 2019 in general elections when Rahul Gandhi had resigned accepting the defeat on moral grounds despite entire CWC requesting him not to do so, the name of the then Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh came up as the prospective Congress president as a non family man to lead the party in the news circles.

Though Captain has not responded to this speculation but his acceptability to lead the 125 year old party was felt, he being an unanimous speculated choice.

Though these were just speculations but his increasing popularity had in fact created a challenging leader to the family say political analysts followed by the G-23 group sending a letter for change in leadership inviting criticism within the party resulting in Ghulam Nabi Azad losing his Rajya Sabha and veteran Congress leader Kapil Sibbal being out of the good books of party high command n Nehru Gandhi family said some news reports.

After, a year or so, lateron captain Amrinder Singh has to face the wrath and finally unceremoniously ousted as Punjab chief minister after so much of hullabaloo and insult as claimed by him publicly.

This can be vindicated by the fact that even after Punjab witnessing an anti Amarinder Singh state president Navjyot Singh Sidhu, the high command after ousting Captain Singh from CM’s post has installed Charanjeet Singh Channi, though from Dalit community but his strict opponent within party and Sidhu’s protege stamped by non other than Rahul Gandhi.

Meanwhile in Uttarakhand Congress too the former state president Pritam Singh and Kishore Upadhyay have join hands to counter veteran Congress leader and firmer CM Harish Rawat who is trying his best to ensure that his party comes to power in the state and he takes up the cudgels of the Congress government in his hand as the next CM.

However, Harish Rawat has while addressing a meeting of Parivartan Yatra in Laksar Haridwar the other day said that he in the name of dirty Ganga pledges that he want to see a Dalit as the next Uttarakhand CM as they have installed a Dalit CM in Punjab. This irked Pritam Singh Chouhan, the former state president in whose place Harish Rawat was successful to appoint his man MLA Ganesh Godiyal. He said that it’s good that a Dalit should be the CM of the state but why ni a Dalit was given chance in 2002 n 2013. While passing a ridiculous comment against Rawat, not naming him, leader of the opposition Pritam Singh said “Bahut Der Kar see, Hazoor Aate Aate”.

Similarly Kishore Upadhyay who had allegedly earlier blamed Harish Rawat for sidelined him to become the Rajya Sabha member from Uttarakhand when he was the CM has said that the massive defeat of Congress was put on him conspiratorially in 2017 despite the hard fact that it was under his presidentship that the Congress got 33% votes despite saffron wave in the state.

He said that the Congress organization in Uttarakhand should assess and analyse the reasons for the party’s massive defeat in 2017 in which than the caretaker CM Harish had also lost from both the assembly seats.

Similarly in Bhartiya Janata Party in Uttarakhand all is not well with present cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat and former CM fighting each other with their war of words going in media making news, almost every day these days.
